Set Goals & Take Action

Together, we identify meaningful goals based on what’s currently challenging. These goals aren’t abstract — they’re rooted in your real routines, responsibilities, and experiences. We break them into simple, doable steps that build confidence, structure, and momentum.

With consistent support and practice, strategies become automatic. As progress builds, we revisit and expand goals to match new confidence and needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are sessions?

The first session is typically an hour. Depending on the client’s need and goals, subsequent sessions can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or a full hour.

Do I (or does my child) need a formal diagnosis to start coaching?

No, a diagnosis is not required. Coaching is available to anyone who could benefit from support in building executive function and/or social skills.

What can I expect from the first session?

The first session focuses on building rapport and getting to know each other. I’ll assess current strengths and areas for growth, and identify both primary and secondary goals. This session sets the foundation for coaching, ensuring the approach is tailored to your specific needs and challenges.

How often are sessions?

The frequency of sessions can vary depending on your goals and needs. I’ll recommend session frequency in your custom coaching plan based on your goals and needs. Most clients benefit from meeting regularly to build consistency.

When will I see results?

Timelines vary depending on the duration and frequency of sessions, as well as the client’s commitment to the process. Progress is typically seen over time, with noticeable improvements as strategies are practiced and reinforced.

Do you collaborate with teachers, therapists, or other professionals?

Yes — collaboration is a key part of my approach. With your permission, I’m happy to connect with therapists, teachers, school counselors, or other professionals involved in your (or your child’s) support system. Working as a team helps ensure that everyone is aligned and that strategies are consistent across settings. It often leads to faster progress and stronger outcomes.
