Meet Julia

I help teens and college students build confidence, independence, and essential life skills through personalized coaching and real world skill building.
I’m Julia, an Executive Function and Social Skills Coach dedicated to helping teens and college students build the confidence and independence they need to succeed in life. With a Master’s Degree in Developmental Disabilities from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in General, Special, and Gifted Education from Indiana University, I bring both expertise and a deep understanding of neurodivergent learners to my coaching practice. I hold teaching certifications in two states and have additional training as an ADHD Certified Educator.
I have worked one-on-one with more than 100 clients and their families, supporting students with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, and other learning and social challenges. My approach is highly individualized—every client receives strategies and tools tailored to their unique strengths and needs. I work closely with parents, therapists, and educators to ensure holistic support, helping families implement best practices that foster long-term success.
I believe that challenges aren’t character flaws—they’re simply skills that haven’t been taught yet. My goal is to provide those missing tools while removing shame, building self-awareness, and celebrating small wins along the way. Ultimately, my job is to “coach myself out of a job” by empowering clients to take control of their own growth.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me reading, cooking, going to yoga classes, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, or enjoying the outdoors with my rescue dog, Maggie.
My Coaching Philosophy
Most people are never explicitly taught how to manage time, stay organized, plan ahead, or navigate complex social situations—yet these skills are essential for success in school, work, and life. That’s where I come in. I provide practical, customized strategies that fit each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
There is no shame in struggling with executive function or social skills—these aren’t personal failings, just skills that haven’t been developed yet. My coaching removes the guilt and self-doubt that often come with these challenges, replacing them with confidence and self-advocacy. While many of my clients have ADHD, Autism, or Anxiety, a diagnosis is not required—anyone who wants to improve these essential life skills can benefit from coaching.
Through honesty, transparency, and a collaborative approach, I meet every client where they are, scaffold their learning, and celebrate progress every step of the way. My ultimate goal is to empower students to become independent, capable, and self-sufficient—so they no longer need me.
